Maintenance Programs and Services
The instruments and tools required to maintain and service a First Responder’s personal protective equipment (PPE) are sophisticated, expensive and require frequent and extensive technician training. First Responder agencies across the Nation are now finding it easier, less time consuming and much more affordable to outsource their PPE maintenance and servicing requirements to service organizations with the expert training and experience required to maintain this type of life support equipment. In response to this need the National Law Enforcement CBRNE Training Center offers the CBRNE TECH™ PPE Maintenance Program. CBRNE TECH™ PPE Maintenance Program
Our complete, full-service Preventive Maintenance (PM) agreement provides for the preventive maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE) and other CBRNE disaster response equipment on a regularly scheduled basis. Services include:
	• Full field inspection • Maintenance and calibration • 24-hour emergency repair service • Initial technical operation training for all manufacturer types of PPE • Program meets or exceeds OSHA and NFPA requirements • Monitoring of individual operator CBRNE certification • Tracking periodicity of required equipment inspections and calibrations • Pick-up and Delivery Service Available *Factory Recommended/Required Regulatory Inspections & Testing available*

Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus Services (SCBA)
	• Perform complete equipment functional testing and visual check • Annual Flow test • Overhaul regulator • Overhaul Exhalation valve • Perform NFPA upgrades to regulators, face-pieces, and harnesses • Provide agency with documented inspection, calibration and test results

Air-Purifying Respirator Services (APR)
	• NIOSH CBRN compliant retrofits • Inspect and replace inhalation/exhalation valves • Install speech diaphragms • Install drinking tubes • Inspect and replace CBRN Filters • Clean and Sanitize

Powered Air-Purifying Respirator Services (PAPR)
	• Flow Test • Battery Check & Replacement • CBRN Filter Replacement

Air Cylinder Services
	• Cylinder Refill-Cylinders are refilled with grade “D” breathing air. • Valve is inspected for leaks and the customer is notified if any repairs are needed. • Cylinder Overhaul- Cylinder is hydrostatically tested. • Cylinder is cleaned and filled with grade “D” breathing air. • Valve Overhaul-Valves are ultrasonically cleaned. • Valve components are inspected and replaced (when necessary). • Gauge calibration is also certified.
